# Build Your Home

> Build Your Home is a multilingual website for Homebuilding, Explained, a practical PDF guide to planning and following the construction of a private home, from choosing a plot to handover and maintenance.

The guide is written for first-time private clients who want to understand construction stages, compare contractor proposals, prepare decisions early, and ask qualified professionals better questions. It is educational and organisational material. It does not replace an architect, structural engineer, site supervisor, contractor, legal adviser, tax adviser, or local authority.

The book is based on the author's experience of building one home and on referenced technical and official sources. Personal experience is presented as context, not as a universal rule. Local laws, prices, and project-specific technical decisions must be checked with qualified local professionals.
